Students may be recorded by audio and/or video while attending class or seminars by the college. These recordings are shared with other classmates and faculty using a secure password protected portal. Any specific behavior that does not meet the Essential Competencies during these audio and video captures may be used in cases of academic misconduct proceedings.
The use of audio or video recording is not permitted by individuals in the classroom. Additionally, artificial intelligence (AI)-based transcription services are strictly prohibited, such as (but not limited to) Otter.ai, Rev, GoTranscript, Sonix, etc. Students may not record, upload, distribute, or otherwise transmit audio or video of faculty, students, or clinical personnel, including third-party technology or transcription platforms, unless authorized.
Students may request permission to audio or video record a lecture or educational interaction including faculty, students, or clinical personnel by submitting for reasonable accommodations due to a disability or temporary medical condition.
